Congratulations to our Beneteau owners who competed in the recent Sydney to Hobart Yachts Race.

The results once again proved the impressive performance that Beneteau’s First range can deliver. It was a sweeping victory for Beneteau in IRC Division 3. Bravo, a First 40 ranked first, and the 2nd and 3rd place went to Black Sheep, a First 45 and Ariel, a First 40. The owner of Bravo, Robbo Robertson steered his former First 40, Lunchtime Legend to win IRC Division 3 in the race in 2013. Robbo has therefore won his division twice in the Sydney Hobart Race sailing his First 40s.

Beneteau Firsts have taken out the highly prestigious overall win in IRC twice which a remarkable achievement for a production boat against the very best of race yachts from around the world.

Beneteau sailing yachts are active in most of the regattas and sailing events across the world. The First, the Sense and the Oceanis ranges, are made for sailors who love to feel the excitement of fast, attractive and comfortable boats.
